Manage employee data in Splendid Accounts by adding their details. Make your that the user you been logged in having the right to access the Employee section.

How to add/edit or delete an Employee

Add Employee

You can add an employee in our system by visiting the setup menu and select the Employee under List column. An Employee form is having the following details.


Each employee has a unique employee code, CNIC, currency. The system is also allowing us to have other details as well.

You can assign the designation and department for the employee as well.

Edit Employee

You can edit the employee details by going to the employee list and select the desired employee.

Delete Employee

If the employee is not associate with any journal entry then the employee can be deleted from the system. You can mark an employee as active or inactive.

Associate Custom Field with an Employee

A company can have different types of employee and to get sort them we have a feature “Custom Field” under setup menu which will allow you to have them on different listing pages. Any custom field can be added and associate with the employee. Employee will have that field under custom field tab.

Add a transaction for Employee Salaries and Loan

Add journal entry for employee salaries

To add an entry, go to the Accounts section and select journal entry.

For recording an employee’s salary, select an expense account you desire for the employee salary on the debit side along with the selection of the employee in the contact column and cash account on the credit side.

Record Employee Loan

For recording an employee’s loan, select a loan account you desire for the employee loan on the debit side along with the selection of the employee in the contact column and cash account on the credit side.
To verify the amount that has credited from the cash account, you can check the account ledger report, select the appropriate account and employee and system will display you the results.

Departments

Add a Department

You can add a department in our system by going to the setup menu and select Department under the Categories column. You can associate a department with an employee.

Enter the name of the department and save it. You will have the department list in the system.

Edit Department

You can edit the department name by going to the department list and select the desired department.

Delete Department

If the department is not associate with any employee then the department can be deleted from the system.

Designations

Add a Designation

You can add a designation in our system by visiting the setup menu and select designation under the Categories column. You can associate a designation with an employee.

Edit Designation

You can edit the designation name by going to the designation list and select the desired designation.

Delete Designation

If the designation is not associated with any employee then the designation can be deleted from the system.
